About Judy

JUDY_8313_002Judy, a native of Chicago, earned an AB cum laude from Harvard College, an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and a JD from New York University School of Law.  After many years of law practice and higher education administration at Boston College and Harvard Law Schools, Judy began advising college and law school applicants over 15 years ago. She works closely with her clients to research and identify those schools to which they will apply. In addition, she discusses the most appropriate teachers and advisors to submit recommendations on behalf of her clients, and helps them to prepare effectively for school visits and interviews. Judy finds the most satisfying part of the admissions consulting process to be assisting applicants to create their essays. Each student has a story to tell that distinguishes him or her, communicates why a particular college or law school is a good fit, and demonstrates what the applicant will bring to the entering class, both within the classroom and campus wide. When clients find their voice and tell their story in a coherent, compelling manner, they know they are submitting the best application possible. That is the ultimate goal of the admissions consulting process. Judy works out of her Boston and New York offices and serves a domestic and international client base. When she is not working, Judy enjoys her husband and three sons, all of whom she guided through the admissions process in the past few years!
